His unifying belief, sustained from April 2024 through 2025, is that the ecosystem is a multi-epoch distribution mechanism culminating in a native Base governance token, with Toby and Taboshi acting as the qualifying assets. He treats ToadGod's lore as a literal spec containing executable steps "laid out for anyone to find...regardless of their financial resources" (2024-04-20), and his recurring framing is fairness: rewarding "small fish" over whales, unlike prior chain airdrops.
Distinct Theories
Coinbase/Base airdrop (the founding theory). Brett's earliest and most durable claim: Toby is the vehicle Coinbase will use to distribute a Base token "within the next year" (2024-04-20), despite Coinbase's denials. His evidence is that Toby was swappable on Coinbase Wallet before any marketing. He proposed a novel snapshot mechanic: small amounts of Toby seeded to many wallets, monitored to see who accumulates to 777,777,777 ("the sacred amount").
The epochs/runes structure. Mapping ToadGod's "777,777,777 + 777,777,777,777 + 1111" to three epochs: Epoch 1 Distribution (accumulate 777M to qualify), Epoch 2 Expansion (whales qualify at 777.777B, triggering a price spike that rewards Epoch-1 holders), Epoch 3 Evolution (1111 = the new token). Token utility (Taboshi/Patience/Sato/Satoswap). Taboshi: a yield multiplier — staking it earns higher emissions per Toby, and binding Taboshi Leaves makes "spores double, triple or more" (2025-07-18). Patience: governance/voting weight, claimable but unsellable, with a 2-year hold and a "weighted" final-rune allocation from a buy/sell tax pool. He repeatedly hedges his strongest readings — the 99% Patience unlock genuinely troubled him: "why wouldn't the entire 100% be unlocked?"
