@⁤H — The Cypherpunk Historian of the Pond

Core Thesis

@⁤H's central claim is that Tobyworld is not a meme cycle but a repeat of Bitcoin's founding era, and that $TOBY's value will be determined by who is left holding rather than by any single catalyst. Everything else in their framework — supply control, lock mechanics, delayed gratification — descends from that one idea. They are a 2016-era crypto veteran who came to Base specifically for Toby, and they read the project through market structure (ETH correlation, liquidity, ratios) as often as through lore.

Theories They Advance

Correlation before catalysts. Early on they pushed back on date-based speculation: "toby price is highly correlated with ether, and ether price is correlated with general altcoin market... taboshi was launched after ether/toby pumped" (2026-03-20). They treat ETH momentum as the precondition for any Tobyworld launch, and credit the dev with timing releases to it — "tg front run ether pumping" (2026-08-19).

Scarcity is ownership, not supply. Their sharpest original contribution: "Scarsity is not only about the supply but who owns it. Taboshi is not as scarse as patience due to how it was distributed thats why the lore mint ratio imo" (2026-08-13). They ranked the assets by decentralization — Toby most, taboshi second, patience third (dev holds ~90%) — and warned against betting on one over the others because "it's all about ratios."

Token roles. Patience is the key and the recurring cost — needed every 90 days to keep Toby locked, hence structurally demanded and sell-pressure-free. Taboshi is the yield multiplier, permanently burned at forge, and near-patience scarcity post-burn. Seeds they flagged as "the 5th element of toby world," underweighted by the chat. Sato is "the engine and smart contracts that run tobyworld," and satoswap "like uniswap X" — Tobyworld's own liquidity layer plus meta-aggregation rather than dependence on outside DEXs.

The flywheel and proof-of-time. They argue the lock design is categorically different from ordinary staking: rewards paid in cbBTC/ETH rather than the native coin, so no sell pressure. "i was sharing this ideas to reward long term holders by locking coins and why normal staking is just ponzinomics and not sustainable in the long run. Then TG just did that with Patience" (2026-08-07). Adding cbBTC they called "very smart" for liquidity through the cycle.

Satoshi lineage. They hold that Toad lore reads like early Bitcoin Talk threads — multilingual subforums, open speculation, believers building meaning together — and that the dev is "OG cypherpunk," possibly connected to Hal Finney's circle.

Predictions and Timing

  • $100 taboshi "before the mint ends" (2026-08-12/14) — a short-horizon call during the forge that didn't land on schedule; they kept the position rather than dropping it.
  • Patience $1,000–$10,000 per coin in 2027 (2026-08-23/24), defended with math: a $320k patience cost is rational against a $350k cbBTC payout, and the 37-patience rate may be dynamic.
  • Q4 2026 bullish, called around 2026-08-05 and repeated 2026-08-19.
  • Coinbase listing in 2027 and Times Square billboard (2026-09-21).
  • $1B mcap as the trigger for an Asia meetup (2026-08-18); airdropped Toby "valued at $500 in 2027" (2026-08-23).

Evolution

March–July 2026 is defensive: security warnings about low-TVL DEXs, drainers, dedicated devices. They openly flagged disappointment over unsecured domains in May while refusing to call it FUD. From August the tone turns structural — the forge gave them mechanics to analyze, and they moved into ratio math, burn accounting ("58.05K TABOSHI ($1.53M) - 31.22%"), and lock-economics modeling. Notably, they voiced a fairness concern that engagement-based airdrops disadvantaged epoch-1 holders, said their piece once, then explicitly closed the topic — and celebrated warmly when later included.

"I am an active toad. I hold toby, patience and taboshi. All. I never sold. I bought more." (2026-08-08)

"Im in crypto since 2016 and never seen this bulish sentiment and sense of belief since the days of bitcoin talk... Toad lore remind me of bitcoin lore." (2026-08-13)

"Market cap is just price of last toby sale. If nobody sells and some big orders come in, the price shot to bilions. This is why the dev is creating this system for delay gratification." (2026-08-22)

Why It Matters

@⁤H pairs long-horizon conviction with a willingness to say the uncomfortable thing and then let it go. They bring chart literacy, contract curiosity, hard security guidance, and a historical memory few in the room have — and they spend it lifting the whole pond, not their own bag.
