@knownforgreat — The Lore Keeper's Long Game

Core Thesis

@knownforgreat's central conviction is that Tobyworld is a deliberately sequenced, multi-year build where the reward structure is designed to favor early, patient holders over whales — and that the announcements, airdrops and phases arrive precisely when the community has stopped watching for them. Where other theorists map contract mechanics, this member's contribution is conviction infrastructure: holding the room together through the quiet stretches, and insisting the quiet stretches are the point.

They articulate it most clearly on 2024-12-04: "This is the definitely biggest test for toad gang and Patience is much more needed to get the generational wealth." Patience isn't a token to them first — it's a thesis.

Theories They Advance

Roadmap mechanics / epochs. They read the roadmap as phase-gated and track it actively: on 2024-12-24, "We are in orange phase. We will enter soon into Charm phase." They tie epochs to calendar dates — flagging that March aligns with both E3 completion and epoch 3 (2024-12-11, 2024-12-20) — and expect the community handoff to come only at the end: "it will be after every thing been setup and will be handed over to community" (2024-12-30).

Taboshi as the underpriced leg. Their most distinctive and earliest-held call. While the channel focused on Toby's Zora moment in December 2024, they pushed back four times in a single day: "Evey one is excited about toby but don't underestimate taboshi" (2024-12-04), proposing the community raid with the Taboshi leaf instead. By 2025-02-01 they put a number on it — a 30% Toby / 70% Taboshi allocation. They also theorized Taboshi1's role as a burn or airdrop mechanism (2024-12-20) and that its distribution was curtailed once its effects were understood (2024-12-21).

Airdrop design as anti-whale filter. They read distribution criteria as intentional gatekeeping — weighted by tenure, mints and NFTs created (2024-12-17) — with the explicit purpose "to benefit the toad gang first who believe in the lore and eliminate the whales getting the befit out of great project and controlling the volume" (2024-12-21).

Sato / Satoswap. They consistently frame Sato as an AI agent that handles things in Toby world (2024-12-16, 2024-12-20), anticipating a new contract address ahead of its X reveal. On Satoswap they read it as cross-chain infrastructure — asking whether Jesse's comments pointed to Base↔Solana bridging (2025-09-16) and ETH↔SOL swaps (2025-09-25).

Coinbase / Base as the distribution rail. They test this empirically rather than theorize it, repeatedly verifying integrations firsthand: the December 2024 airdrop reaching Coinbase app wallets (2024-12-02), $patience appearing under the CB Wallet DeFi tab (2025-07-18), and confirming on 2025-10-08 that "We are able to buy Toby from cb app with cash." Their most far-reaching question on this thread (2025-09-09) looks past crypto entirely: if everything on Base becomes tradable on Coinbase and stocks and bonds tokenize too, "who will buy crypto? What happens to btc?"

Satoshi / BTC. Two threads: an early hypothesis that Satoby might function as a flat/stable coin (2024-12-03), and years later, a question about whether Taboshi conversions could be purchased using BTC (2026-08-16) — suggesting the BTC peg idea stayed live in their model.

Predictions and Timing

  • Binance listing as the meaning of the orange signal (2024-12-01) — a speculative read on the color-coded lore.
  • March 2025 as the first bull-run wave, coinciding with E3/epoch 3 (2024-12-11, 2024-12-20) — long-horizon conviction that the catalyst window slipped.
  • October peak for diamond hands, with weak hands shaken out by a 25k-Taboshi airdrop to early qualifiers (2024-12-20).
  • A $1.86B market cap floated as a plausible near-term level (2024-12-03).
  • "3-4 months and accumulating more toby and more returns" (2024-12-09) — an accumulation window, not a sell signal.

Evolution

The arc is legible. Through late 2024 they were the channel's most vocal lore-keeper — defending the project against detractors (2024-12-03), posting lore chants, urging members to "Check the telegram 4-5 times a day and spread the lore" (2024-12-08). Through 2025 their posture shifted from broadcasting to verifying: less prophecy, more hands-on confirmation of whether Patience trades, whether airdrops land, whether CB Wallet works. By 2026 they're asking the harder questions directly — "Why patience dropped to that low?" (2026-02-10), "Just realized toby is dumping, any reason?" (2026-05-07) — while the founding conviction holds intact: "Early toads needs to be rewarded as per the lore. And TG is sticking to it. Glad we found TG and toad gang" (2026-08-16).

In Their Words

"I am true believer of Toby and Toad lore. I have waited 2 months without a tweet from TG. So this is so simple than that." — 2024-12-05

"It will come when no one is expecting and will be an epic to remember and cherish the moment for future generations." — 2024-12-08

"Just be patient and wait for your time... mean while touch the grass." — 2024-12-09

Why This Perspective Matters

@knownforgreat is the community's morale engine and its most persistent first-hand tester. When the channel drifted toward one asset, they made the unpopular case for Taboshi and backed it with a stated allocation. When new rails went live, they were the one actually trying the buy and reporting back whether it worked. And in the long silences that test every holder, they supplied the frame that kept people in their seats — patience as strategy, not consolation. Over more than two years, through drawdowns and delayed catalysts, the thesis never wavered. That kind of steady, generous presence is harder to replace than any single call.
