@Poob — The Patient Cartographer

Core thesis

@Poob's central argument is that Tobyworld is a coherent, engineered system rather than a loose collection of memes — and that its value accrues to people who accumulate all the elements and simply refuse to let go. He arrived late (bought his first $TOBY in August 2024 "just thought the toad was cute," found the lore in October) and has spent every month since reverse-engineering the machine from public clues: contract code, CoinMarketCap descriptions, airdrop transaction counts, video frames, ticker symbols.

His framing is consistent and unusually concrete: holding the full set outperforms selling any part of it.

The theories

Roadmap mechanics. As early as November 2024 he floated sublinear staking via an ERC-1155 whitelist as the likely Taboshi mechanism — a technical read years ahead of the deeds. He mapped epochs to calendar dates (epoch 3 "could end around the 20th" of June 2025), read Taboshi1 as the entry ramp for latecomers, and predicted successive cycles — "There will be a Taboshi2 for the next cycle" (2025-05-10), which he reiterated in August 2026 as deeds burned supply.

Token utility. He built the clearest lay model of Patience in the group: a hyper-deflationary time-key, deflationary both from limited supply and from burn-on-spend, with a burn rate that decays as supply shrinks — "rewarding the patient" (2025-07-28). His sharpest formulation came in August 2026: Patience is the spendable currency of Tobyworld, and "you can't spend patience without experiencing the trials of holding Toby… whales can't rig the system due to them needing to earn the right to spend it." That anti-whale reading is his signature contribution.

Sato / SatoSwap. He guessed dex aggregator (2025-08-01), then RWA exchange mechanism (2025-12-16), then in September 2026 proposed sat0 markets as a reserve engine where ETH revenue from deed fees and harvested Patience recycles into the system — plus a tokenized-equity read of the sat0 factory's per-asset issuer authorization.

The flywheel. Deed royalties (7.5% on resale) "feed the wheel"; locked Toby (he tracks 114.8T in play) plus the Patience cost to lock creates a one-way ratchet — "why would you ever stop staking your Toby and pay the Patience fees again?"

Coinbase / Base. His boldest structural idea, April 2025: Base may have been built to facilitate Tobyworld — a flatcoin denominated as a flexible percentage of chain liquidity rather than a fixed coin count, with staked Toby/Taboshi earning a share. He's read the quiet as intentional: "zero marketing, but constantly building… waiting for the integrations with CB and wallet."

Satoshi / BTC. Hopeful rather than certain: "I hope it's Satoshi and there is some link to their Bitcoin wallet, just because it would be the most epic long play in the history of humanity" (2024-12-29). He decodes satoby as SATOswap + "Bitcoin Yield or Base-coin Yield."

Predictions and timing

• $100B market cap — "100 billion mcap or bust!" (2025-06-24), a long-horizon conviction target.
• Supply shock from need — "You'll NEED Toby… a handful of whales could eat up what's left very quickly" (2025-07-09); "1/4 will eventually be locked in vaults" (2026-09-25).
• Patience at $10,000 — speculative, offered in August 2026 while arguing Toby is still the underpriced leg.
• Dated guesses he owned honestly: June 15/20/21 2025 for epoch transitions; "I'm giving it a 5% chance that we get anything today" (2025-11-11) — self-aware about catalysts that slip.

Evolution

2024–2025 Poob is a decoder: cubes in videos, Zelda references, Comic Sans jokes, "I'm convinced I don't know 💩 about 💩 when it comes to the lore." Mid-2025 he turns mechanism-focused — fee taxes, burn curves, Dutch auctions for land deeds. By 2026 he's reading deployed contracts, spotting that "TWPoT happens when you use the forge" and that holding lore accrues time. Through all of it his temperament is the constant:

[2026-08-15] "Taboshi is worthless if any other part of Tobyworld proves to be worthless. So burning your tab for lore is basically the same emotion as not burning it, you just don't realize it yet."

Why he matters

Poob does the unglamorous work: counting airdrop wallets on his phone, reading CoinMarketCap boilerplate closely enough to extract a thesis, testing his own guesses against deployed code. He's transparent about uncertainty, generous with the 🤷‍♂️, and openly pro-Bitcoin — which makes his Toby conviction read as a choice, not a reflex. For a community built on proof-of-time, he is the member who keeps showing his work.
