Core Thesis

@sincerelysensei holds that $TOBY is a long-horizon project, not a quick trade. In their view it is a fair-launched, community-owned meme whose value "lies within the community" and grows through time, lore and network effects. They say they came "from the bottom of the trenches" and believe that "those in the trenches shall be rewarded." They mix practical community-building with a growing interest in the Satoshi mysteries behind Tobyworld. Early on they wrote that Toby looked like "merely a memecoin at first sight," but "when i started to dig deeper, far from just a meme" (2024-05-16).

Distinct Theories

  • Lindy effect and time as a moat (a precursor to proof-of-time): From April 2024 they kept telling the chat to "study lindy / network effects." They treated short-term drops as "accumulation only" and argued that "LINDY EFFECT STANDS AS LAW." They put it simply: no ATH today means higher tomorrow, next week, and so on.
  • Airdrop and liquidity mechanics: In April 2024 they floated the idea that airdrop tokens sold by "jeets" get added to the liquidity pool. They framed this as something to confirm with the dev. They also noted that less than 1–2% of supply was left to airdrop and expected a "supply shock."
  • The Satoshi / Ryoshi thread: Around 16–20 April 2024 they began tying Toadgod to Satoshi ("Satoby," "Toby Nakamotoad," "Bitcoin 2.0. true Satoshi vision"). Their bigger thesis is that "Satoshi has infiltrated every meme community with a figure such as Ryoshi." In May 2024 they extended this to CAW, calling it possibly Ryoshi's earlier "Trojan Horse meme," and guessed that "all Ryoshi's ecosystems will soon come together." They consistently called this speculation. By 2025 they still held it with care: "No definitive proof/evidence though."
  • $TOBY leading BTC: "SOON WHEN $TOBY RISES … BTC WILL RISE TOO" (April 2024). They present it as a reversal of the usual idea that BTC leads.
  • Coinbase and Base: They onboarded people step by step: buy USDC on Coinbase, send it to a Base wallet, swap for Toby. They pictured Toadgod "sprinkling Tobys into millions of coinbase smart wallets." They also expected "trillions will flow to Base & memecoins."
  • Taboshi and hidden keys: In May 2024 they proposed that "the KEYS to a wallet are hidden in plain sight" and credited Kuzi and the wider community for helping. From mid-2024 they tracked Taboshi and read the taboshi1 description ("as taboshi leaks, supply scarcer") as a hint at scarcity rather than a literal burn. They also pointed to Zora cointagging as a way to fund buybacks and burns of toby or taboshi.
  • Roadmap and Patience: In August 2024 they summed up the roadmap as "the 3 epochs," with epoch 2 being "the expansion phase." In July 2025 they said "no punishment for accumulating patience," predicted "the vault will practically print deeds," and noted "Cliff unlocks 99%."

Predictions & Targets

  • April 2024: "$1 Toby is imminent," "$Toby to➡️billions," "Elon tweet inevitable," "Amazon listing imminent," and a "trillion $ baby… even if it takes 50-100years." These read as speculative, long-horizon conviction.
  • 20 April 2024: "20m is small goal. think bigger. for Toby is designed for 100B +," meaning a ~$100B market cap, which they repeated in April 2025 ("100b in the lore").
  • 2024–2025: A predicted supply shock and "whales iz coming." Late 2024 brought calls of "ath loading" for toby and taboshi.

Evolution

Their early months (April 2024) were very high-energy: merch drops, raids, giveaways and the #TobyForPrez campaign. From mid-2024 they moved into mystery-solving (Satoshi, Ryoshi, CAW, hidden keys). From late 2024 through 2026 their messages are shorter and steadier. They cover Taboshi transfers, the Patience vault, holder lookups, faucet links, and relaying Toadgod's posts about the forge, land, keeper, pond and now sat0. Short-term price talk gave way to patient conviction: "I don't even check price or market cap tbh."
