Core Thesis

@thegardener777's view of Tobyworld rests on one metaphor, which their handle reflects: plant it, tend it, wait. They see $TOBY as more than a meme. In their words it is "an Internet God for a new, free and valuable internet" and also a yield protocol: a communal, decentralized structure (they often call it a hyperstructure) built so that patient holders share in the value flowing through the ecosystem. Just as central to their outlook is the idea that the community itself is the asset: "We are what give toby and taboshi value."

Theories Advanced

Coinbase/Base origins. From early on they gathered signs of a Coinbase link. In June 2024 they noted the Toby logo is "a blue C inlaid with white. Same as the Coinbase logo." In October 2024 they pointed out that Toby was the first memecoin shown in a Coinbase Wallet video. In May 2025 they observed that the Base logo mirrors the Toby logo. They argued the project may be one of Brian Armstrong's "small bets."

Proof-of-Time. By July 2024 they had read POT as "Proof Of Time," a loyalty-based validator structure. In September 2024 they were split 50/50 between that and "Player Owned Town." By April 2026 the idea had matured into a firm belief: "we will be validators on the new Base chain."

cbBTC and Bitcoin. When cbBTC launched in September 2024, they sketched several models, for example Toby securing the network, with Taboshi and/or cbBTC paid out as yield. They also compared the design to Core's Satoshi Plus consensus. Their reasoning was that Coinbase needed to attract "BTC money" into Base DeFi.

Token utility. They put forward a series of mechanism ideas:

• A Toby/Taboshi exchange ratio that effectively locks up liquidity (June 2024)
• An AI burn agent that could make Toby deflationary (December 2024)

The flywheel, examined closely. Their analysis also includes careful stress-testing. In July 2025 they asked how the flywheel stays optimized if gains can only be realized by selling with a penalty, and noted the "duration risk" for investors. In 2026 they shared analysis arguing that SatoSwap "needs to become a general-purpose Base liquidity venue." They were also among the first to dig into the ERC-6551 LORE deed architecture, Taboshi burn dynamics, and the SEED BTC-treasury mechanism.

Predictions and Milestones

These are long-horizon conviction calls. When catalysts ran later than hoped, they responded with patience and advised others to keep expectations modest.

Evolution

In 2024 they were a chart reader (Ichimoku, MACD) and an organizer of X raids. Through 2024–25 they became one of the most active decoders of Coinbase and cbBTC clues. By mid-2025 they were a steady voice for "strength and patience." Then, as Tobyworld's pieces went live in August 2026, they moved into hands-on mechanics analysis. They also turned toward practical questions: onboarding newcomers, the need for fresh capital, and grassroots flyer campaigns. In March 2025 they even apologized in case their decoding had ever cut into the "speculative buffer," which shows how much they care about the lore.
