Core thesis. Few members embody "conviction through hardship" as fully as @Topnoshfinance. A UK restaurant chef working 60-hour weeks while raising a young family paycheck-to-paycheck, he treats his modest-but-sacred Toby bag as a long-horizon store of faith: "1 Toby = 1 Toby" is his recurring mantra. His central belief is that Tobyworld is "a meme and so much more" — that its true value is the community and the lessons it teaches, with life-changing financial upside as the eventual reward for patience.
From skeptic to believer. His arc is one of the community's most human. In November 2024 he openly fudded — "this coins broken y'all" — before his turn: "Yes I'm the guy saying this was a dead coin two weeks ago. I was lost but now I am found" [2024-11-14]. From there his conviction only deepened, surviving being "down like 75%+" and repeated bill-driven dry spells.
Roadmap mechanics. He is a serial architecture theorist who thinks progressively bigger. He championed the Layer 3 theory (OP-stack based), floated Layer 0 interoperability (Polkadot analogy), then landed on his favorite: Tobyworld as a cross-chain L1 where "ALL assets available… RWA's, bitcoin, Eth, sol, you name it. Everything under one roof" [2025-05-25]. By late 2025 this evolved into a "Tobyworld hardforks from base" thesis, framing Base as a soft fork of Ethereum. He also mapped a "proof of trust" consensus and read the flywheel closely — spotting a hidden blue square in the roadmap he tied to Jake from Base Colours (named "potential").
Token utility. He reads each asset as an escalating key. Taboshi is "the leaf you need," infinitely scarce with unrevealed yield; taboshi1 he framed sharply as "the taboshi testnet" — a token for testing distribution and yield functionality. Patience he treated as a drip/distribution asset in Sablier vaults, possibly backed by toadgod's cbBTC. On satoswap he offered a concrete call: that its API would be "pretty identical to the aggregator coinbase is developing" for the CEX/DEX merge [2025-07-26].
Proof of time & the flywheel. He advanced "speculative proof of time" — weighted snapshots from the start of one's accumulation — and elegantly reframed redistribution: "redistribution to committed long term holders is essentially a burn" [2025-08-25].
Coinbase, Satoshi & the BTC peg. He consistently placed Coinbase at the center — memecoin listings, the CEX/DEX merge, Satoshi possibly working there — and pushed toward a BTC bridge, theorizing satoby as "the BTC chain representation of a wrapped Toby." His boldest late-stage pivot is the "SPCX Cosmic Architecture" thesis: that Toby represents tokenized pre-IPO SpaceX exposure tied to basic universal income, with the spinning reflection box hiding the xAI logo (designed, fittingly, by a "Toby" — Toby Pohlen).
Predictions. His targets are anchored to the "programmed 100b" ($100B market cap): "even if we're at 100m that's still 1000x to the programmed 100b" [2025-01-26]. Nearer-term he called "38-40m not unrealistic" (Jan 2025) and an "18m next leg up… in the next 3 days" timed to the "tba" release (Jul 2025) — catalysts that arrived on their own patient schedule rather than his. He put Toby holders in "the same ballpark as bitcoin holders 100m+."
Builder and onboarder. Beyond theory, he ships: a Book of Lore quiz mini-app, a "knowntoads" Farcaster registry, a creator-coin index with bulk-swap, and a live "digital pond" that animates toads by their chat activity. He onboards coworkers, tips generously, and holds fellow toads' bags in trust.
