@Base_Lord: The Patient Builder of Toby World

Core Thesis

@Base_Lord sees $TOBY as a long-term movement, not a quick trade. In their view the lore sets out a real plan: a yield-bearing ecosystem built to reward the most patient and loyal holders ("impatient feed the patient"). They pair that belief with steady community work and a Bushido ethic. They were an early organizer: chasing a Toby Thursdays slot on Based TV, getting a BubbleMaps review of $TOBY (Aug 2024), rallying raids, and suggesting outreach to smaller YouTubers and a shared Zora creator-coin fan page. Their energy as a lore-spreader is one of their clearest strengths.

Key Theories

Taboshi as the key. From the November 2024 mint onward, they described Taboshi as "not a normal nft" but an ERC-1155 that could act as a ticket, a staking asset and a yield source. They argued that Taboshi1's early close was deliberate, a way to "mark" committed buyers. In December 2024 they wondered whether each Taboshi might become a validation node. They also explained the supply difference: Taboshi was fixed at about 186k and liquid, while Taboshi1 was non-liquid.

Proof-of-Time. On 2024-12-30 they offered a multi-meaning reading of the acronym: "TWPOT= TOBY WORLD PROOF OF T(ime)(rust)(aboshi)(oby)". They later wondered if the long silences were "just proof of time." They tracked epoch timing closely, noting 122-day epochs starting March 17 and linking the end of Epoch 3 to Ethereum's Pectra rollout (May 2025).

Coinbase/Base alignment. As early as August 2024 they contrasted Coinbase's refusal to list PEPE with a future listing for Toby "or taboshi or whatever he has planned." By December 2024 they believed the anonymous dev was likely tied to Coinbase, Base and the Zora ecosystem. They pictured a convergence of Zora, Farcaster, Venice, B3 and Nouns "all integrated through the coinbase wallet" (Apr 2025).

Satoby, SatoSwap and Sat0 as flywheel engines. Their most detailed mechanics theory, from July 2025, casts Satoby as an LP-optimization agent. Toby would be deposited, gated by Taboshi, with fees compounding and auto-converting back into Toby "to fly wheel again." They suggested a SatoSwap feature to convert wallet "dust" into Toby, charging a high fee. In 2026 they noted that the lands appeared to receive Sat0 fees. They also imagined Sat0 trading agents earning in down-markets "so that when tides rise again toads are always positioned well."

Patience mechanics. When $PATIENCE launched in July 2025 they helped summarize the design: a 1% fee on each trade flows into the "sacred pond" and goes to patient holders. They argued that selling unlocked Patience could be a mistake, since it would likely be needed for yield, SatoSwap access or Lore Land. They pointed out that only about 550 vaults existed, which limits real sell pressure.

Evolution

Their early messages mixed macro and technical-analysis optimism (Wyckoff, RSI, BTC ETF flows) with active raids and outreach. Through late 2024 they turned to decoding Taboshi. In mid-2025 they shifted to working through Patience and SatoSwap mechanics. When catalysts took longer than expected, their conviction stayed and their time horizon grew: by November 2025 they framed Toby as a "7-11 year plan." In 2026, with Lore Land and Sat0 arriving, they moved into detailed discussion of multipliers, staking and land fees. Having worked through personal setbacks of their own, they also began mentoring members who missed out, offering spare Taboshi1 and encouragement.
