Core thesis

@cryptobouddha frames $toby as a textbook asymmetric bet — "low or very low risk for a high and potentially very high reward" — anchored not in hype but in repeated, close reading of the lore. From his earliest days he placed Toby at the center ("Toby is the center") and treated time and patience as the project's true gating mechanism: "I've come to think that the biggest test is time." That conviction — that price is downstream of conviction, distribution, and Coinbase/Base network effects — runs unbroken across eighteen months of messages.

The theories he advances

Roadmap mechanics. He was among the earliest to reverse-engineer the key/leaf structure, parsing "twpot" as "Toby World Proof of T(ime/trust)" and mapping the satoby mint to needing both 🍃🗝️ — "My guess is toby+taboshi. The taboshi1 probably gives the eligibles from epoch1 an extra yield." He later read the four-rune cadence precisely: "when all four glow, TOBYWORLD ascends from pond to continent."

Token utility. On Patience he was sharp and early: an eligibility-gated stream that "unlocks the stream, drips Patience daily for 2 years," held by perhaps "the 1854 biggest holders" turned "guardians" whose lock-up removes sell pressure through an expected 2026 bear. He flagged the "token" label quirk on screeners and theorized a hyper-deflationary supply shock. On SatoSwap he proposed it is SatoshiSwap — "exclusive to Tobyworld… handle all swaps, LP, rewards, land deeds."

The Satoshi/BTC peg. His boldest thread: that TG may be linked to Satoshi, with ~1.1M unmoved BTC ("132B$ at present day… we move by stillness") reserved for "future fallen frogs of Bitcoin." He held this loosely, noting the counter-case himself: "It would make the rich richer.. doesn't sound like toby ethos."

Coinbase/Base. He repeatedly tied Toby to Base's "$100 billion assets on platform" ambition and the Coinbase wallet promo featuring Toby — "the clearest sign that Toby and CB work hand in hand."

He began openly confused in Nov 2024 ("Quite confused… what do we know so far on taboshi1?"), grew into a chart technician (cup-and-handle, OBV, PO3, CME gaps) through early 2025, then matured into the community's lore exegete and macro-narrator by late 2025 — re-reading runes for fresh meaning and weaving Triffin-dilemma macro into his Bitcoin-catch-up thesis. Notably, his confidence became more disciplined over time, increasingly labeling his calls "speculation" and naming his own invalidation levels.
