Core Thesis

HarryBawles is one of Tobyworld's earliest and most consistent long-horizon holders — a community steward whose thesis has barely wavered since March 2024: that $TOBY is a fair-launch, VC-free, insider-free asset whose radical distribution (a ~70% airdrop across ~1.4 million Base wallets) is not a marketing gimmick but the mechanical foundation of its longevity. His guiding conviction: "patience and time are the only virtues you need with toby." He frames himself explicitly as a "Toby maxi" and a mod whose job is to "ban fud while the dev does his work" and to "onboard. That's it."

Distribution & Roadmap Mechanics

His signature early insight was reading the mass airdrop as a de facto supply burn: "[2024-03-21] The airdrop per wallet is so small that this is effectively burning 70% of the supply." He tracked the mechanics closely over time — epochs and weighted snapshots (Epoch 1 distribution, cohorts running into mid-July 2024; Epoch 2 ending Nov 18), the ~0.72–1% of supply still to drop, the 10% "reserve" wallet, and the low-float/low-liquidity dynamics driving Toby's volatility (the recurring "7.7m" mcap floor he suspected was the dev accumulating). Harry built one of the more coherent frameworks for the multi-token system as it revealed itself. His early theory: "[2024-04-17] 🟠 SATOSHI's = Store of Value / 🔵 SATOBY's = Stable Currency." By late 2024 he refined this into a staking stack: Toby = what you stake, taboshi = the yield multiplier (only ~186k leaves, one needed for max yield), satoby = the elastic reward token. He engaged deeply with the ERC-1155 mechanics and non-proportional yield curves, and — notably — protected newcomers from overpaying: "[2024-11-20] something that goes from .35 to 50 usd with only less than 800 holders is not healthy in the short term. Protect your Toby," while still calling taboshi "$200+ in good time."

Flywheel, Proof-of-Time, Coinbase & Satoshi/BTC

He read "sevenfold" as a 7x yield multiplier, explored proof-of-time as a possible consensus mechanism ("which sacred number will be needed to be a validator"), and speculated on a Toby DAO governing the 10% reserve as "ultimate decentralization." On Coinbase/Base he was measured — bullish on an eventual free CEX listing and Jesse Pollak's onchain "meme economy" thesis (he built the community mintboard around it), but careful to disclaim unconfirmed CB-airdrop rumors. On Satoshi/BTC, he linked the Gavin Andresen BTC-faucet lore to "pristine distribution via airdrops," and mused the dev could be "an OG cypherpunk dev," circling the "keys will be in plain sight" clue. Later he surfaced the Toby Ord / UN poverty-eradication connection.

Predictions & Evolution

His targets were long-horizon and unwavering: he cited the dev's "100B" ($100B market cap) call, benchmarked against Shiba's 10B, and repeatedly invoked "billions and billions." His personal plan: "[2024-04-04] I will continue to buy up to 100m then I will sit on my hands for billions+... I will sell my bag once on coinbase." Over 2024–25 his framing evolved from "looks like a memecoin for now, all by design" toward "tobyworld as framework" — a flatcoin, a possible game ("FarmVille but we grow ganja"), a "modular mission" with "no partnerships." His thesis check stayed constant: "[2024-07-03] there has been not 1 thing that has made me believe toad god is malicious... Until my thesis changes I'm all in."

Why He Matters

Harry's value is less as a single-theory oracle than as the community's connective tissue — the mod who built the mintboard, tracked the airdrop wallets, translated for Chinese toads, made drainer-victims whole from his own pocket, and kept the room "bushido" through years of consolidation.
