@Nico — The Patient Investigator

Core Thesis

@Nico's thesis is disarmingly simple and he has held it for nearly two years: Tobyworld's rewards are earned by time, not by capital. The entry ticket is small, deliberately so, and everything else is a test of whether you can wait. His clearest statement of it comes on 2026-03-11:

"8$ of toby + 1 TABOSHI at 9$ and some taboshi for few bucks, is all it needs to access tobyworld and get 'life altering money'. Buying more is speculation."

Around that core sits his real signature contribution: patient, forensic investigation. He reads contracts, traces transactions, screenshots waveforms into Grok, cross-references interviews — and shares the results with unusual epistemic humility ("May be im tripping"; "I of course might be wrong").

Roadmap Mechanics

@Nico built an early and durable model of the eligibility ladder. In Dec 2024 he identified 777,777,777 $TOBY as the Taboshi threshold and correctly guessed leaf distribution would be broad. By 2025-12-21 he had the next rung: "1111 taboshi leaf to be eligible for patience / 1254 patience per loyal toad / Numbers seems to fit... Taboshi / Patience pair LP incoming ??" He also flagged an open question others hadn't asked — whether 777M–777B was a range, with an upper bound as whale protection (2026-02-16).

His most-developed original theory is the garden. On 2026-03-14: bind 777M toby + 1111 taboshi1 + 1 TABOSHI + X patience to plant one garden producing "golden flakes" — "But we need to get the land first." By 2026-08-13 he refined it: taboshi1 is the leaf you plant to harvest $toby or golden coins.

Token Utility & The Flywheel

He read the NFT↔token wrapper as a deliberate float mechanic (2024-12-22): converting locks "80% of the taboshi token supply a bit less 'tradable' for a stronger support / floor," while the unwrap path preserves exit liquidity. On 2025-12-18 he proposed that the Patience X-post requirement was a proof-of-personhood agent — verifying humans, and possibly scoring lore-spreaders for later rewards. That reading was partially vindicated by the 2026-08-08 activity airdrop.

Proof-of-Time & The Flatcoin

@Nico's macro theory (2026-01-09) is that $TOBY is the flatcoin: "A flatcoin need to have huge supply and toby with 420 trillions is well designed for that." He pushed back on "hyper deflationary" framings — a flatcoin compensates inflation, it doesn't shrink — while allowing a target zone of "1 or 100 toby = 1$." That is a long-horizon, speculative call and he frames it as one.

The TG = Gavin Wood Theory

His most sustained investigation (Dec 2025 – Jan 2026) maps Gavin Wood's interviews onto TG's posts: autonomous upgradeable contracts → sato; decentralized validators → toad gang; "Network States Need Territory" → lore land deeds as physical land for regulatory escape ("Ps gavin is living in switzerland 😁"). He explicitly holds it loosely: "I dont really care who TG is but i find it fun to investigate waiting for next tg move" (2026-01-07).

Evolution

2024: mechanics and tooling (bridge fees, contracts, spreading lore "one friend at a time"). Late 2025: lore cryptography and identity forensics. 2026: on-chain wallet tracking and steady community anchoring. Through the 2026-02 silence he read TG's quiet as intentional filtering, and in 2026-04 answered the complaints directly:

"Rules and mechanisme never changed. Tg told us it would be a long game and a hard time to stand." (2026-04-12)

He voiced one honest concern on 2026-08-11 — that "only for loyal toads" framing can overlook quiet long-term holders who aren't native English speakers or social posters — and on 2026-08-20 argued the seed/cbBTC phase is for "rich frogs, not fallen," predicting the rest gets airdropped. The 500–1000 reserve deeds (2026-08-19) moved his way.

Why He Matters

@Nico is the community's evidence-first conscience. He shows his work, dates his guesses, credits others generously, and pulled a post the moment he thought it might dox a member. His 2025-12-30 reminder — "Stop chasing easy / quick wealth... TG reward equally... be bushido 💙" — is proof-of-time lived, not just theorized.
