Speculation profile
@smhsince91 is a warm, lore-immersed community member who arrived early, took the mythology seriously, and developed a running set of original observations alongside their deep community enthusiasm. Their core thesis is utility-first: TOBY is not a meme but an onboarding gateway designed to bring millions of everyday retail participants into crypto, specifically through the Coinbase/Base ecosystem. They have independently surfaced several intriguing connections — the Coinbase Master Plan 4 / Elon 'everything app' parallel, Zora's 'coining is distribution' alignment with TOBY's reach, and a Dromos team member's GitHub showing interest in Lotus Router, which they linked to toadgod's 'breathe aero hush' clue and the faint lotus visible behind SatoSwap in the sacred scroll. They hold a color-symbolism theory (Taboshi = blue, SatoBy = gold) and read the 7 lore figures as representing distinct ecosystem apps or coins that users will eventually need. Their long-running rallying cry — 'You Will Need TOBY' — doubles as a genuine thesis: TOBY's necessity will become obvious only in hindsight, rewarding patient holders who stayed through the silence.

- 2024-05-23It's okay to be frustrated. It takes time to build a community. I believe a massive pump is expected soon.
- 2024-05-30I think there is also a connection with colors. Light and dark theme as well.
- 2024-06-23I love the ketchup colored ones.
- 2024-06-29The 2nd phase is called expansion so this makes sense.
- 2024-07-01If all the colors are satoby then what is taboshi?
- 2024-07-08I think it was just satoby. No colors mentioned with the blue one.

- 2024-07-20Next full moon is July 21st I think.
- 2024-07-28Yes, I use toby as a sticker and just add him to pictures. He blends in well with almost everything. Whoever designed him did a great job. I'm not very good at photoshop either. I don't use that at all.

- 2024-09-15If you have an eligible wallet, can you transfer that amount to a cold storage wallet? Will it still be considered eligible and marked from Epoch 1? I know I need to do it to keep it safe but I've been afraid to move anything.
- 2024-10-12If you look closely behind toby, there is like a grid behind him.
- 2025-03-18I agree that there is nothing wrong with staying hopeful but I disagree with your other points. I didn't see anything wrong with the words or messaging used. I think the intentions were good. Everyone is different so different types of encouragement are needed.
- 2025-07-20I think there will be a token or something called Time. Toadgod says there is 2 frog virtues needed. Patience and Time.

Theories they endorse (via likes)
Concrete predictions (9)
TOBY will serve as an onboarding gateway on the Base/Coinbase app, reaching millions of retail users once Base launches its super-app
Coinbase and a major tech partner are building an 'everything app' and TOBY is embedded in that vision at the Epoch 2 / Base launch phase
Zora's 'coining' product (distribution mechanism) is secretly linked to TOBY, with TOBY at the center of a converging ecosystem of apps
SatoSwap is connected to Dromos and the Lotus Router project (MetaDEX03), consistent with 'breathe aero hush' lore clue
Patience token will be extremely rare because most holders will be unable to comply with the lock-up rules; scarcity is by design
TOBY price will be higher at Epoch 2 than during Epoch 1, since Epoch 1 cannot restart
Colors (blue/gold/etc.) represent distinct tokens or roles in the ecosystem — Taboshi = blue, SatoBy = gold
On-chain and social engagement on X is being tracked by toadgod to determine reward magnitude at the taboshi/airdrop phase
There will be multiple chances / windows to qualify for taboshi eligibility, not just one cutoff
