Who he is and how he communicates

@toadgod1 (also @toadgod1017) is the anonymous founder and creator of Tobyworld — the $TOBY ecosystem on Coinbase's Base chain. He writes in a deliberately mythic register, casting himself in the third person as "toad god" or "toad dev," a builder-prophet executing a long-foreshadowed "prophecy" for "the people." His voice braids three threads: terse operational updates (airdrop progress, gas costs, contract addresses), riddle-poems that always end "what am I? $toby," and Japanese aphorisms invoking bushido (武士道), patience (忍耐), and perseverance. He opened the lore in Latin — "Pro populo agimus, ut stellae nocte lucent" ("we act for the people, as stars shine in the night," 2024-03-15) — and signs off with phrases like がまん (endurance). The через-line is consistent: "further together. toads together stronger" (2024-03-18), "$toby is the people. the people is $toby" (2024-03-25).

The vision and thesis

The airdrop (Mar–Apr 2024). Sato / SatoSwap / Satoby. The Satoshi motif culminated in "follow @sat0ai … SATOby real" (2024-12-23, on X), pointing toward an AI/yield arm — left more hinted than fully specified.

Patience & the Sacred Pond (2025). After long silence he returned: "night after the bloom … 2.33M #PATIENCE for s0 … only 7,777,777 grains🔺" (2025-07-17, on X). The ethos is bushido patience as a filter. Proof-of-time is the literal mechanism and the moral: value "must be won by contest" (2024-03-25, on X), "easy to claim, difficult to own" (2025-07-17, on X). How his messaging evolved

Three phases: a frenetic 2024 distribution sprint (operational, transparent, riddle-heavy); a 2024 meditative holding period through bear sentiment ("there is no light without darkness," 2024-07-05, on X); and a 2025 mechanism-maturity phase where abstract promises (yield, deflation, validators) became shipping products with real fee numbers. The poetry stayed constant; the specificity sharpened.
