Core thesis

@w0rds82 reads Tobyworld as a deliberately engineered, time-gated ecosystem sitting at the center of Base — one whose ultimate purpose is bridging the two great "islands" of crypto, Ethereum and Bitcoin, and channeling wealth "not to large institutions but vice versa, from the rich to the fallen frogs." Everything he theorizes ties back to two anchors: proof of time (you earn entry and yield by holding, not buying) and a $100B market cap grounded in tangible assets rather than pure speculation.

The theories he advances

Roadmap mechanics & proof-of-time. From late 2024 he consistently modeled Tobyworld entry as a holding requirement — 777,777,777 Toby held for an "epoch" (which he decoded as 12 weeks / ~3 months, reading 777,777,777,777 as days rather than a token amount), combined with taboshi and taboshi1. He framed this as a fair-distribution and supply-sink mechanism: "having loads of taboshi is of no use to anyone who does not have enough Toby… a symbiotic relationship." Time, he argued, is the whale's enemy — a large buyer forced to hold for months before yield is more likely to sell.

Token utility & the flywheel. He built out a detailed model of the newer tokens: patience as hyper-deflationary (sprinkled to release spores, effectively burned, becoming scarce-but-useful), staked or added to liquidity to earn "golden flakes," and combined with taboshi for the highest yield. He identified Satoswap as "the router under the hood driving volume from Coinbase to DEX," with micro-buys of patience driven by Zora — an unusually mechanical read of the flywheel.

Satoby / the BTC peg. His most original contribution is the satoby thesis: that taboshi1 is "the bridge to BTC… or key," and that TG "has found a way for the free flow of assets between Ethereum and BTC." He pointed the community toward the SAT20 protocol and Lightning Network as the plausible plumbing, urging members to read the whitepaper.

Coinbase/Base & the 100B. He repeatedly justified the $100B target through real-world value: 1M BTC at $100k = $100B, Satoshi-era wallets moving coins to Coinbase, and BTC loan interest potentially feeding the ecosystem as yield. Crucially, he cautioned against over-indexing on Coinbase alone — "don't let Coinbase blind you… it's bigger than Coinbase."
